Harry and Meghan had space in their coop for one more chicken.
Introducing a chicken to a new home can be really difficult, there’s a pecking order. We have a feeling, that a royal title won’t impress the other chickens. Prince Harry and Meghan are often the butt of the joke, and this time around, their good friend Ellen DeGeneres is making fun of them for giving their new chicken a royal title, reports The Mirror.
DeGeneres’s chicken, Sinkie, broke her leg, but once healed, the other chickens were picking on her and she was no longer accepted by her peers. Harry and Meghan had room in their coop and took Sinkie in, giving her a new home. DeGeneres turned to Instragram to thank the Sussexes, giving them a shout out for adopting Sinkie, but she also called them out, saying, “Not sure yet what her royal title will be.”
