Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been estranged from the Royal Family since they relocated to California in 2020.
Meghan Markle has reportedly been “putting out feelers” in a bid to end the feud with King Charles and Princess Kate, a royal expert has claimed Since establishing themselves as independent, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have come under fire for their perceived attacks on the monarchy, particularly in their Netflix documentary series and his memoir Spare.
But it seems now relations may have turned a corner, with the King undergoing cancer treatment and Harry planning to spend more time in the UK, as he told Good Morning America last month. Royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “Meghan doesn’t want to go back to acting, but she’s terrified that if things are not patched up with the Royal Family Harry will cease to be a brand asset and brand Sussex will suffer, so she is putting out feelers now that both Kate and Charles are ill.
“Underneath the huge ego, Meghan is actually a kind person and she was shocked by Kate’s recent serious operation and Charles’ cancer diagnosis.” After Omid Scobie’s book Endgame was published last November, Kate is said to have called Meghan up to attempt to clear the air.
Although the two never had a close relationship, the Princess of Wales wanted to do what was best for the institution and her family. An insider told InTouch Weekly: “Shortly after the book’s allegations came out, Kate reached out to Meghan to clear the air.”
