Meghan Markle’s Archetypes podcast has been launched on all streaming platforms but there has been a change to the cover picture.
Meghan Markle’s previously Spotify-exclusive podcast was today released on all platforms including Apple podcasts and Audible – but with a new change. Royal fans were quick to spot the Archetypes cover with Lemonada branding had undergone a makeover for the relaunch of the podcast. On the old Spotify cover, a black-and-white photo of the Duchess was given a green background, with the text laid over the image.
The new cover, however, appears fainter, with purple undertones and the Archetypes text has been moved above Meghan so you can see more of her. It was revealed last month Meghan Markle had signed a new deal with Lemonada Media after she and Prince Harry parted ways with streaming giant, Spotify.
In a statement uploaded to her new website sussex.com, Meghan Markle stated: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.” Previously, Spotify and the Sussexes’ audio production company Archewell Audio had released a joint statement saying they had “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together”.
The podcast which highlighted issues with female stereotypes ran for just one 12-episode series but included star-studded guests such as singer Mariah Carey and TV celebrity, Paris Hilton. In a statement about her new podcast, Meghan added: “Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.”
