“Ever since the ‘Good for You’ days — that was, gosh, so many years ago — that’s the diamond I’ve always dreamed of,” Gomez confirmed.
“I just tried not to f— up. That’s all I did,” Blanco added.
talking about the lead-up to the big moment, Gomez admitted that she wasn’t “anal” about what her ring looked like. However, her music producer fiancé admitted that she switched gears at one point.
“She showed me designs and I would always throw little hints. I’d be like, ‘Yeah, but if I ever made one, would you want it like this?’ And then she changed her mind halfway through.”
Blanco added that the original ring featured “huge baguettes” on the side that were ultimately removed because Gomez didn’t “want something that big.”
