Stories on Friday as he walked up a hill near his home to assess how close the flames were to his house.

While he said that he and his family have not yet been told that they need to evacuate, Will said his daughter Willow is nervous as the fire spreads in the area

climbing up a hill close to his home while speaking to the camera.

‘So I’m going up to a higher place to take a look out at the fire. We’re probably about eight miles away from it,’ he says.

‘We haven’t been told to evacuate just yet, but Willow is nervous so she made me go outside and look and make a daddy assessment.’

Will then turns the camera around to show his home, which currently looks safe. However, he then pans to the right, and several miles away large, billowing clouds of smoke can be seen
