Affleck was pictured with what some have described as a ‘stone-faced’ expression during the awards ceremony, with other fans claiming he looked miserable.

However, any tension appears to have died down with Lopez playfully mocking her husband and his gloomy expression.

Affleck is directing the film ‘AIR’ which recently had its first trailer revealed.

“AIR… cannot wait,” Lopez tweeted.

Embedded in this tweet was a video of the trailer being played at the Grammys, and how glum Affleck looked, to which Lopez penned over.

Despite the obvious negative photographs from the event, J-Lo was quick to assure fans that the pair did indeed enjoy their evening and that the images were just capturing a small part of the night.

She shared a number of pictures of the pair arriving at the event to her Instagram, with both faces displaying quite elegant smiles.

A seat-filler at the event claimed that the married couple were laughing and joking about how Affleck had already become a meme as the ceremony progressed.
