Diddy’s Lawyers Request Music Mogul Appear in Court Unshackled
requesting that he appear unshackled in court for his upcoming hearing and “for all future court appearances.”
The 55-year-old music mogul’s latest request was filed on his behalf by his attorney Marc Agnifilo in a late-night motion on Monday, Nov. 18, ahead of Combs’ court appearance on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
In the filing obtained by PEOPLE, Agnifilo wrote, “We write on behalf of our client, Mr. Sean Combs, to respectfully request that the Court direct the United States Marshals Service to unshackle Mr.
Combs prior to bringing him into the courtroom for tomorrow’s hearing and for all future court appearances.”
He then referred to Combs’ previous court appearance on Thursday, Oct. 10, where he appeared in leg shackles throughout “without any justification,” he claimed.
