17-Year-Old Black Teen From New Jersey Scores Perfect 1600 on SAT
Philadelphia is mourning the tragic loss of 17-year-old Noah Scurry, a standout student-athlete from Samuel Fels High School, who was fatally shot on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. as Scurry was preparing to leave for school with his mother. According to reports, he was shot multiple times and was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Surveillance footage captured a white Jeep Grand Cherokee leaving the scene; this vehicle was later recovered by police in Northeast Philadelphia.
Scurry was celebrated not only for his athletic prowess as the captain of the basketball team but also for his academic excellence, having achieved the highest SAT score in his graduating class. He was anticipated to receive both academic and athletic
